PUBLIC UTILITIES DEPARTMENT

 The Utilities Department houses three divisions that are responsible for the following:

 The Water Pollution Control Facility is responsible for providing complete treatment of wastewater from sanitary sewers to produce a fully treated, clean effluent for the discharge.

 The Division of Water Treatment treats water to provide safe and good-tasting drinking water for City water customers

 The Utility Billing Department, a division of the finance department, handles the creation of new utility accounts and the maintenance of existing accounts including billing customers for utility usage.
