Welcome to the home of the Gallipolis Police Department.  Our Municipality is located in Southeastern Ohio on the Ohio River.

As a Police Department we provide a wide range of services to the citizens and visitors in Gallipolis.  The department is in operation twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.  The department’s ten officers patrol the streets of the town in nine cruisers.

In addition to basic police services the department also provides a School Resource Officer to Gallia Academy High School, an Investigator for Major Crimes, participates in the local SALT Council (Seniors and Law Enforcement Working Together), TRIAD. a local R-U-OK program through the Gallia County Sheriff’s Office, and sponsor’s Explorer Post 200 through the Boy Scouts of America.
